Shields

Looking at the 2012 rule set.
I am unable to tell if you are only allowed to use Dark Moon shields or if they have to be made to those dimensions (and pass the usual inspection).

Have you found an answer to this yet? What does the 2013 rules say?

In previous Zombie games, only the Dark Moon shields were allowed. However, I am not on Staff or Safety for this event, so an official answer should come from one of them.

They are removed, but still had the byline for the Dark Moon series.

The type of die doesn't affect the probability because none of the shield test results depend on a particular positive number, only on the sign of the result.
